Breitling
About
Breitling was founded in 1884 in Switzerland by Léon Breitling. The brand is best known for its chronographs and aviation watches.
Willy Breitling, the founder's grandson had the idea to use chronograph pushers at the 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock position. Today, this is the norm for all chronographs, but at the time this was a new concept. Other chronographs had a pusher within the crown itself.
Breitling was one of the companies behind Project 99, one of the first automatic chronographs in the World, released in 1969.
All modern Breitling watches have a COSC certified chronometer movement (whether in-house or not).
